I did went to Fallout New Vegas wiki that I need to take the ED-E bot inside the Gibson Garage & make it wait for 1 hour & nothing happens.
Once I bring my bot with me to the Gibson Scrap yard, I talk to the old lady name "Old Lady Gibson" & she doesn't ask me about the ED-E bot & also it doesn't complete the quest. Speak to Old Lady Gibson at the Gibson Scrap Yard at the north end of Novac. These items can be found randomly throughout New Vegas in abandoned houses or settlements. 
To repair ED-E, you must find three piece of scrap metal, two sensor modules and a scrap electronics. In order to advance the quest you must wait nine in-game days and then travel to. After the conversation speak with ED-E and run the playback log. Mention HELIOS One to trigger a keyword in ED-E's system. Head to Old Lady Gibson at the Gibson Scrap Yard and talk to her. This will add ED-E as a follower and give you the Enhanced Sensors Perk. I talked to old lady Gibson, which is where the quest arrow points to, but there is no available dialog about ED-E or anything new, my only options are to trade or have her repair something. The mission log says "(Optional) Take ED-E to Gibson scrap yard" or something. I just got my ED-E and have no idea what I'm supposed to do. As far as I know, the only purpose to taking ED-E to the scrap yard is to unlock the first Enclave voice-message.īy the time I picked ED-E up in the game, I had actually killed the old lady (Gibson, I think her name is), in order to get her dog's brain for Rex - so talking to her was impossible. What is it I'm supposed to do? I just left it there, waiting. Old Lady Gibson doesn't have any new diologue options when I have Ed-E with me.
